Explore the hidden gem NARMBOOL, a 2000-hectare working farm where nature awaits to delight and enchant you. Expert guides will walk you through the property where native wildlife thrives.

THE MEDICINE HIDING IN THE GARDEN
Explore what lies beneath the surface of nature when you discover the medical gifts contained in our plants. Make your own herbal oils, create salves and balms, tinctures, and tonics as you learn how the
land can contribute to your health and well-being.
Weeds can be both medicinal and edible once you know what you’re looking for under the guidance of a FarmacyCo workshop. A unique, curated experience that will change the way you see your
garden.
KID’S STUFF
Botanikids introduces young ones to the beauty of gardens as The Friends of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens encourage play and creativity using items found around the grounds of Sovereign Hill.
Sovereign Hill has plenty more to keep youngsters entertained including a brand-new outdoors game featuring a map to find the clues to hunt for a prize. The kids can laugh and shout like it’s the 1850’s at the Pantomime, Blackbeard the Pirate.
There are many things to do at Sovereign Hill that are on daily or weekends from gold panning, digging tours, a back-to-school session and more.
