See the Skywhales soar over Ballarat. For the Ballarat Winter Festival, the Art Gallery of Ballarat will launch two giant-sized balloon sculptures by renowned artist Patricia Piccinini to a live soundtrack performed by a rock band and a 100-strong children’s choir.

The two floating sculptures, Skywhale (2013) and Skywhalepapa (2020), will take off from Ballarat’s historic Eastern Oval and fly over central Ballarat. Register now at the Gallery website for details and updates.
