The Woodend Winter Arts Festival is an annual celebration of music, the visual arts and words and ideas. The four-day program features a world-class showcase of vibrant, traditional and thought-provoking events.

Musical highlights include a performance by acclaimed jazz musician Simon Tedeschi with George Washingmachine, while the words and ideas program features discussions of challenging contemporary issues with some of Australia’s greatest literary minds. 

New to the 2023 program is the High Street Festa. Over one evening, Woodend’s charming main street will come to life as historic buildings are illuminated with colourful projected artworks and as free live performances take place.
