Madison Place is a 2-hectare property with sweeping views across a large dam and fountain, located in Hazelwood North, just 15 minutes south of Traralgon. 

Owners Don and Marrie Vandersteen purchased the property in 2007, and quickly started work on a long to-do list, transforming weed strewn paddocks and a rough farm dam into a park-like garden.

With no formal plan, the garden was developed in small stages, so the owners could enjoy the fruits of their labour. This garden encourages ambling under the mature trees, with plenty of pathways to entice visitors to discover what is round the next corner.
