Set among the rolling hills of Carrajung in South Gippsland, Saint Cloud is a relaxed Baroque-style garden created by landscape designer Phillip Kavanagh. Inspired by the great formal landscapes of Europe, it combines classical statues, fountains, hedging and urns with expansive perennial borders in a distinctly Australian setting. Interconnected garden rooms unfold across the former dairy property, featuring lakes, waterlilies, maple avenues and repeated plantings of silver birches, crab apples, cherries and tulip trees. Spring brings spectacular colour from rhododendrons, azaleas and early roses. Enjoy views towards Mt Baw Baw and Ninety Mile Beach. Tea, coffee and lunch available.
