Castlemaine Fringe Festival is a celebration of community & creativity: our people & our places. The festival takes place in the streets & buildings of Castlemaine and surrounds, activating our town, inspiring our people.

2025 is the festival’s 34thyear, and the biggest program yet – featuring a mix of more than 160 ticketed & free events: Music, Theatre, Exhibitions & Open Studios, Comedy, Dance, Cabaret, Workshops, Social Impact events and more. 

Plus a HUGE, FREE Opening Night Street Party in the centre of town, with over 150 performers, food, bars & dancing in the streets.
