Hanami is a richly diverse acre-and-a-half garden transformed over more than 20 years from former paddocks into a series of garden rooms designed to reveal something new around every corner. Three distinct areas—semi-formal, cottage and arboretum—offer contrasting experiences. Roses, box hedging, perennials and bulbs surround the house, while sweeping lawns and a camellia border create a welcoming space. Beyond, meandering brick paths lead through the cottage garden to a potting shed, fountain, vegetable beds, chook house and summerhouse. The arboretum provides a peaceful parkland setting beneath established deciduous trees, with bulbs adding seasonal colour throughout.
