Set on a hilltop between Arthurs Seat and Main Ridge, The Winter Garden is a remarkable two-acre landscape created by Ann-Maree and Paul Winter over the past decade. Richly layered garden rooms unfold across the slope, connected by gravel paths and Corten steps, with three circular lawns providing structure. Resilient planting combines ornamental grasses, drought-tolerant natives and hardy perennials, creating changing colour, texture and movement throughout the seasons. A new 1,000-square-metre garden on the former tennis court features repurposed materials, salvaged fencing and rare native plantings. Visitors can enjoy book signings, plant sales and a coffee van throughout the weekend.
