Culraven is a remarkable Dandenong Ranges garden designed by renowned landscape designer Edna Walling for the Ringland-Anderson family in 1941. Owners Hugh and Liz continue to restore and enhance the garden, honouring Walling’s vision for future generations. Three garden rooms are framed by magnificent sprawling yews, while six acres of enchanting woodland unfold beyond, with mossy paths, hidden vistas and orchards to explore. October brings vibrant displays of rhododendrons and azaleas, alongside remarkable mature trees including the “Magic Faraway Tree”, a magnificent linden and an avenue of towering Himalayan cedars. This Walling garden has never before opened to the public.
