Once you have decided on the important details, please email us with the following details: date, location, package, and a number of guests and we will confirm availability.

Complete the booking form and pay the 25% non-refundable deposit fee.

Once we have confirmed availability, we will send you a booking form, terms & conditions and instructions on how to pay the deposit.

We will send you an invoice for the balance of payment two weeks before your event. Full payment is required seven days before the date of your booking.

Our branded Daylesford Cider picnic hampers are insulated with full zip closure ensuring the contents keep cold. The hamper then make a perfect summer accessory for all your future picnic needs!
The hamper is designed for 2 people and includes;
1 x cold 750ml cider (select your choice upon pick up)
2 x Daylesford Cider cups
1 x Daylesford Cider bottle opener
1 x Chef’s selection of regional favourites, including locally cured meats, cheeses, homemade dip, pickles, chutney, fruit/nuts, crackers etc
1 x 750ml bottle sparkling water & cups
2 x Cutlery, napkins & wipes.

Why not make a day of it at Buda and have a picnic! A viewing of this historic home of the Leviny family is a must for lovers of the Arts and Crafts movement, heritage gardens and Gold Rush architecture. A gentle stroll around the grounds could be capped off with a picnic lunch on the lawn overlooking the township or listening to the aviary birds while seated at our comfortable tables in the courtyard.

You are welcome at anytime to bring your own rug and picnic hamper, but for those travelling, or an extra special treat, why not book an exclusive Buda gourmet hamper lovingly prepared by Melanie of Fryers Teahouse.

All gourmet hampers feature fresh seasonal produce (low food miles) and are self-contained, with a picnic rug, thermos’ and fine china. There are vegetarian options for each basket and dietary requirements can be catered for upon request. They also feature special Buda recipes direct from the diaries of the Leviny women.

Baskets must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance and will be waiting for you upon arrival on your chosen date at reception. Baskets are simply delivered back to reception after your picnic.

Baskets are available by ordering in advance for any day we are open except Public Holidays. Price includes admission to the Buda Garden.

All of this is on offer at Parkside Winery and Farm through until Christmas where we will be offering three choices of picnic lunchboxes, all using regional produce.

The Parkside Lunchboxes are individually made by us here at Parkside. It includes four items and is accompanied by a glass of Parkside Wine or Sparkling ($35 per person).

The Luxury Lunchbox for Two we have prepared in partnernship with the wonderful Sal at Daylesford Picnic Boxes. Your box is generously filled with cheese and gourmet delights all made locally by small-batch makers. Accompanied by a premium bottle of Parkside Sparkling the cost is $140 for two people.

So journey on some roads less travelled this weekend. Only 30 minutes from Melbourne Airport.

Mixtures of sweets and savoury grazing boxes. Or tailored to requests. House made slices, dips nibbles, cheeses meets. Or wraps and sandwiches and fresh fruit.

After experiencing a private wines tasting in our cellar door (which is free of charge), you may want to relax on the verandah or in the scenic garden and enjoy a BYO food picnic.
