Situated on the green pastures of the Schulz Organic Dairy farm, the former Timboon Cheesery has been transformed into a vibrant dining and retail space, with a menu led by patissier chef extraordinaire, Hila Perry.
Perry’s Israeli background, as well as her time spent at renowned restaurants Bibelot, Vue de Monde and Fat Duck and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal make her a fine addition to the Schulz Organic Dairy team.
Specialising in light lunches and pastries, the Cafe and Creamery will showcase the best Schulz Dairy products sourced from their single herd of Friesian and Jersey cows, and is joined by coffee from Market Lane, wines from Newton’s Ridge Winery and other local produce from the Great Ocean Road region.
”It’s a true farm to table experience – our cows graze here, they’re milked here, we create our products on site, and we serve them in our cafe,” Schulz Organic Dairy Founder Simon Schulz says.
Using organic farming practices for almost four decades, the Schulz Organic Dairy range features products that are simple, pure and (of course) delicious. The hope is that punters can come enjoy the quality produce and experience in-depth the sustainable ethos and practices Schulz Organic Dairy is founded on.
