While you are in the area:
Here are a few other places Prue Simmons recommends you visit while you are in the area:
This workshop will take place in the charming historical township of Clunes in Central Victoria. As Victoria’s first gold town, Clunes is a gorgeous place to wander, peruse the bookstores, get a sweet treat from the confectionery store or enjoy a delicious lunch from a local cafe before the workshop.
Soul Barn is a beautiful new creative wellness space located in the heart of this beautiful historic township.
Plus some accommodation options if you want to stay and make a weekend of it:
There are lots of accommodation options in Clunes to suit all budgets – from the local caravan park nestled by the creek to mid-range and luxury B&B’s. Make an extended experience of what the region has to offer by staying before or after your workshop! The famous Clunes Booktown Festival will be running programs throughout the weekend, specifically around writing, publishing and podcasting, so if you’re a budding author or podcaster, make a weekend of it by joining in a session before your workshop! See their website for more details on the sessions. If you plan to stay, organise your accommodation early, as things will book out quickly with Booktown taking place.
