Please bring a drink bottle with you. We suggest comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes as you will working in a commercial kitchen space in the Harvest Hub.
What else you should know?
The Edible Forest is located on the Yarra Valley Estate property, one hour from Melbourne. Public transport is limited to the venue, so we suggest you drive.
Complete the class with a guided forest tour by one of the team members at Yarra Valley Estate who lovingly created the space. You’ll learn the health benefits and reasons why individual plants were selected as you meander through the six different areas including tea, wetlands, bush tucker, sensory, berry & woodlands.
Our Edible Forest isn’t like anything you would have experienced before – over 850 plants that are grown either for edible or medicinal purposes, are planted within a one-acre forest garden that supplies edible produce every day of the year.
