What to bring:
Good walking boots/shoes. Must have good grip, ankle support is recommended
Water bottle – 1 litre
Layers of clothing, woolly hat and gloves and a waterproof jacket – we are at 1600 metres and the temperature drops significantly in the evening.
Walking poles can be useful
Sunhat, sunglasses, sun protection. Small rucksack to carry above items.
What else you should know?
Transport will be provided from the centre of Bright up to Mount Buffalo, and you will be returned to Bright at the end of the evening.
We will contact you 24 hours prior to the event with exact meeting time (which will depend on time of year and weather). Unless otherwise stated the meeting point will be the ALPINE VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE, 119 Gavan Street, Bright. We can also pick up/drop off in Porepunkah (opposite the Post Office).
We will also advise you of the weather forecast so you know what temperature to expect.

We understand that sometimes in life things can occur unexpectedly, so should you need to cancel more than 48 hours before the event, we can refund the cost to you in full.
If the presenter needs to cancel the event we will do our best to let you know as soon as possible and offer you an alternative date or refund your money in full.
