Celebrate Lunar New Year at Sovereign Hill (January 26 – 29).

The whole family will be entertained with a heap of experiences, performances, as well as fun games and crafts.

You’ll experience cultural performances where you will discover the importance of the Year of the Rabbit. There will be ribbon dancing, Tai Chi and fan dancing, along with other traditional Chinese entertainment. Then there’s the Dragon & Lion parade to really get you celebrating.

There will also be a range of Asian inspired food and drinks to enjoy. From stir-fried noodles, fried rice, bao buns and dumplings, to Asian-inspired cocktails. 

You’ll also experience all the classic Sovereign Hill activities such as gold panning, the diggings tour, candle making & dipping, black smithing and much more.
