The 2022 Castlemaine Documentary Festival is on from 1-3 July at the iconic Theatre Royal in Castlemaine in the heart of regional Victoria on Dja Dja Wurrung country.

This year’s Realise The Possible celebrates the connection between filmmakers, films and audiences and the lure of documentary storytelling with LOCALS on opening Night, a diverse line-up of eight outstanding documentaries, stimulating panel discussions and parties. Films are also available online.

The program includes three Australian Premieres – Letters from Baghdad, Rebellion and I am Samuel, as well as a Victorian premier, Television Event.
