The Great Trentham Spudfest returns 2–3 May 2026, celebrating people, produce and region. Now in its 19th year, the beloved festival draws more than 10,000 visitors to historic Trentham, famed for potatoes grown in rich red volcanic soil since the 1860s. 

The festival runs a different program on each day. Saturday’s Street Fair fills the town centre with spud-inspired food, local produce, fresh potatoes, makers’ stalls, live music and the Spud Olympics, plus heritage Spud Hut tours. Sunday’s Discovery Day opens farms, studios, gardens, tastings and workshops across the region.

Come for the spuds and stay for the warm country hospitality.
