Blackwood Ridge is a three-acre garden created by landscape designer Dan Sullivan and chef James Pethybridge on a former strawberry farm. Developed over 25 years, it features seven themed garden areas inspired by British garden traditions, including a Japanese garden, a pollinator garden, and a formal kitchen garden. The property boasts rich soil, natural springs, and a cool mountain climate, supporting a vast collection of Japanese maples, rhododendrons, oaks, and rare conifers. Visitors can enjoy vibrant spring blooms, flowering bulbs, and light refreshments, with part of the proceeds supporting the Australian Rhododendron Society.
