Portarlington will fire up again with this much-awaited festive winter party along the foreshore and throughout the town. Gathering the best Folk and Celtic artists and performers, celebrating our return with a sensational line up and plenty of craic– we can’t wait to be back. 

There will be no shortage of live music, bars, markets, workshops, sessions, delicious food, dances, writers, children’s entertainment, demonstrations, and special events – get ready for four days of music, arts and culture.

This year’s festival program will run across a range of venues, the foreshore will become a festive winter party with spaces to gather for a catch up and a drink. Whether you come for the whole weekend or just a day the festival market is an attraction. 

And if it’s something a little different you are looking for there’s the National Highland Championships – with the largest athletes in the world competing in traditional highland heavy games or take a selfie with some highland cattle or sail the bay on the tall ship.
