Overlooking the Harcourt Valley for more than a century, La Colline is a rambling country garden surrounding a beautifully restored 1917 farmhouse. Productive orchards, vegetable gardens and mature trees reflect Harcourt’s rich fruit-growing heritage, while winding gravel paths reveal sweeping valley views and dramatic granite outcrops. Mediterranean-inspired, water-wise plantings contrast beautifully with the boulders, creating a garden rich in texture and seasonal colour. Spring brings bulbs, hellebores, roses, echiums and arthropodiums. A striking avenue of more than 100 Chanticleer pear trees welcomes visitors, while ancient yellow box and black mulberry trees add a remarkable sense of history.
