The Goldfields Gothic Festival of Dark Ideas is a weekend of events themed around digging into the dark side of the goldfields.

Inspired by intriguing stories of the past, the gore and gruesome glory surrounding the spiritualists, secret societies, bushrangers, ghost-hoaxers and murderers. We shine light on the dark side of our heritage and history, the region and people who live, and have lived here.

The festival is from 4 – 6 August.
