We’re bringing the paradise island of Mauritius to Dandenong Market!

Join us to celebrate Mauritius Independence Day on Sunday 12 March 2023 from 11am until 2pm.

Mauritian culture is a fascinating blend of African, South Asian and European influences. The event will showcase Mauritian traditions, including sega music and dance workshop and LIVE performances featuring Indian dhol drumming from 11am.

The dress code is typically Mauritian – “tropical loud” – and we will have spot prizes for the loudest and proudest on the day! Of course, you don’t have to be Mauritian to join in the fun!
