Set in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges, Crome Garden is a plant-rich, evolving garden created over 11 years by artist Prue Crome. The garden unfolds across three areas: the house garden, hillside garden and tranquil gully garden. Spring brings spectacular colour, with rhododendrons, azaleas, daffodils, tulips and woodland plants layered beneath mature trees, including magnificent copper beeches. Explore winding sawdust paths, Japanese maples, rocks and a graceful wisteria arch, before discovering the natural spring and towering tree ferns of the gully. Prue’s atmospheric colour field paintings will also be available for purchase during the opening.
