Pulp is a new Spring wine festival from Wine Yarra Valley. Celebrating winemaking innovation and diversity from new and established producers across the Yarra Valley region – think small batch production, new varieties and blends, alternative tasting experiences and creative collaborations.

The program is jam-packed with events around the Yarra Valley. Here is a little taster.

Viva Brachetto! A Joyous Tasting Event at Soumah of Yarra Valley:

This fun-tasting event will showcase the rare north-east Italian variety Brachetto with the addition of cocktails and delicious sorbet! The 30-minute ode-to-Brachetto is a chance to try a variety that is exclusive to SOUMAH in the Yarra Valley. You will sample SOUMAH’s Brachetto Frizzante, Brachetto Tranquillo, two (moreish) Brachetto cocktails, and finish with housemade Brachetto sorbet. The bites will be paired with wine too.

A Taste of the Unexpected at Domaine Chandon:

Enjoy a flight of alternative sparkling wines paired with unexpected bites. Taste the world of possibilities in sparkling with three Chandon Winemaker Exploration wines:

• The Field Blend, including the almost-forgotten champenoise grape variety, Petit Meslier;
• The Ancestrale Rosé, bubbles made the original way, flavoursome and full of character;
• The Meunier Rosé, made in the Saignée method for richness and an iconic Ruby hue.

This wine flight will be presented with three food pairings which play on your pre-conceived ideas – bold, surprising, and unexpectedly delicious!
